Victim in Fatal Mansfield Crash Identified
Natalie Caron of Mansfield died after her car crashed into a tree and her car burst into flames.

MANSFIELD, MA — A local woman who died in a car crash early Sunday morning has been identified.
Natalie Caron of Mansfield passed away after her car crashed into a tree and burst into flames, the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office told the Sun Chronicle.
At about 2:19 a.m Sunday, police received a 911 call reporting a car on fire in the woods near North Main and Dane Streets, according to the Mansfield Police Department. Police at the scene found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.

Police say the vehicle failed to negotiate a bend in the road and struck a large tree. Caron, who was the only person inside the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash was investigated by Mansfield Detective Sergeant Lawrence Crosman, Detective Boldrighini, Accident Reconstruction Officer David Kinahan, and state police.
