Victim in Mansfield Stabbing Set to Leave Hospital

The suspect was scheduled to be arraigned in Taunton Juvenile Court Monday.

The victim in a Mansfield stabbing is scheduled to be released from the hospital.

Saturday night, police arrested a 15-year-old juvenile after receiving a transferred 911 call from the Massachusetts State Police. Police were able to locate the suspect about a 1/2 mile away from the scene, in a parking lot on Old Colony Way. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with assault to maim and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.

The teenage suspect was scheduled to be arraigned in Taunton Juvenile Court Monday, according to the Sun Chronicle.

Due to the suspect’s age, police has not released his name and juvenile court sessions are not public.
