Video Shows Close Call When Car Crashes Into Mansfield Bakery
A video from last week's crash into White's Bakery was released Wednesday showing just how close a call it was for one customer.

MANSFIELD, MA — Miraculously, no one was hurt when a a 79-year-old woman crashed her car into White's Bakery last week, driving into the building, knocking over several tables, and smashing doors and windows. But store security footage was released Wednesday showing just how close a call it was for one customer.
Surveillance video obtained by WBZ 4 News shows a customer narrowly escape getting hit by the RAv4, which sent a display of food flying into the front counter. The woman reacted quickly, saving herself from a potentially serious injury.
Police said the crash happened around 1:30 p.m., on Thursday, April 4. Two employees and a customer were in the bakery when the crash happened, but no one was injured.

The store sustained serious damage to the glass wall, door system, and exterior veneer wall. Despite the heavy, damage, the store reopened for business the next day.
