A Webster Bank branch for years, the Connecticut based bank closed their Mansfield branch in 2011, citing the rising popularity in online and mobile banking as the reason for the closure. Since closing in the fall of 2011, the space has remained empty. To this day, flyers telling customers to go to the Webster Bank in Attleboro remain on the front windows.
