WANTED: Mansfield Police Searching for Suspect in Theft at Honey Dew Donuts

Mansfield, MA — Police are looking for a man who used a confidence game to steal cash from Honey Dew Donuts on Copeland Drive.

On May 21, the suspect gave an employee a $50 bill to pay for a small coffee. While the employee attempted to make change, the suspect kept distracting her and touching the money, according to Mass. Most Wanted. A second employee saw this and attempted to help and gave him change as well. The suspect walked out with his original $50 bill and the change.

The suspect is described as a man with a small build, dark complexion, and short height.
