This Will Be the 10th Straight Weekend of Snow

We’re already a week into spring—but this is New England so it should come as no surprise that more snow is on the way.

At least 1-2 inches will cover the region Saturday. Parts of the state could get as much as 3 inches.

Here’s the Mansfield forecast:

• Friday: A chance of rain showers, mainly after 8pm. Patchy fog between 10pm and 3am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 31. Light north wind. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
• Saturday: Snow showers likely. Patchy fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 38. North wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
• Saturday Night: A chance of snow showers, mainly before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. North wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
• Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. Northwest wind 6 to 8 mph.

Parts of New York and Connecticut were blanketed early Friday.
