Woman Looking for Nurse who Saved Daughter at Mansfield Stop and Shop
The woman is now searching for a nurse who saved her choking daughter Friday.
A customer at the Mansfield Stop and Shop is now looking for the nurse who saved her child’s life last week.
Melanie Morantus told WCBV that on Friday, she pulled into the supermarket’s gas station when she noticed her daughter in her rear view mirror making a gagging sound.
A nurse at the station told employees to call 911 while she cleared the girl’s throat. While the girl did not drink or eat anything, Mortantus said she believes her daughter choked on her saliva and had a febrile seizure.

During the emergency, Morantus forgot to ask the nurse for her name but called her a true hero.
