Women Charged with Abandoning Stolen Car in Mansfield
Authorities say the pair stole the car while on a drug run in Attleboro, abandoned it in Mansfield, and were arrested in Norton.

MANSFIELD, MA — Two women face charges after allegedly stealing a car for a drug run in Attleboro, abandoning it in Mansfield, and getting arrested in Norton.
Meghan K. Forde, 31, formerly of Norton, and Kaitlin M. Scipione, 28, of Plainville, pleaded not guilty Thursday in Attleboro District Court to motor vehicle larceny and conspiracy to steal a motor vehicle, according to the Sun Chronicle. Forde was ordered held without bail pending an examination from a court psychologist and Scipione was ordered held on $750 cash bail.
Prosecutors say the victim drove the two to a home in Attleboro Wednesday night for an alleged drug deal. After the victim noticed that his phone was missing, he got into an argument with the women after they returned from the house. While he got his phone back, the women allegedly drove off with the car.
