Xfinity Center Fined for Neal Young Show
The venue will pay a fine for the show finishing past curfew.

Neil Young may want to keep on rocking in the free world, but it will cost the Xfinity Center.
On Wednesday, the concert venue was fined $4,649.50 for Young’s July 22 show. The singer finished 18 minutes over curfew, ending at 11:18 p.m.
Per the venue’s entertainment license, the Xfinity Center was fined 50 cents per attendee for going 16 to 30 minutes past curfew. Attendance at the show was 9,299.

After voting on the fine, Selectman Jess Aptowitz said that he suggested to new Xfinity Center GM Jeffrey Mann that he introduce himself to the board at a future meeting. The new GM replaces Bruce Montgomery who recently retired from the post.
