Xfinity Center Manager Defends Venue Against Alcohol-Related Criticism
Jeff Mann said the venue is actively working to enforce the parking lot alcohol ban

MANSFIELD, MA - Xfinity Center manager Jeff Mann defended the concert venue Wednesday night amid criticism from the Mansfield Board of the Selectmen concerning drinking prior to concerts.
Mann said the venue has worked to enforce the town's no-alcohol rule in the parking lot, according to the Sun Chronicle, telling the board that security details have confiscated cases of beer and those who break the law are banned from returning for a year.
Police Chief Ronald Sellon said Mann has given ideas to help improve compliance. Despite disagreements, the talks have been professional.
