Xfinity Center Performer Accused of Hitting Security Guard with Beer Bottle
Police say a member of the Bots assaulted a security guard.

The lead singer and guitarist for an indie rock band that performed at the Xfinity Center last week has been accused of smashing a beer bottle over the head of a security guard.
Mikaiah Lei, 22, of Temple City, Calif., was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon according to the Mansfield Police Log.

Lei, a member of The Bots, opened for the Deftones and Incubus Friday night.
The Sun Chronicle reports that Lei allegedly smashed the bottle after he got into an argument with a security guard backstage when the guard attempted to enforce a ban on glass bottles.

Lei pleaded innocent in Attleboro District Court on Monday, with his lawyer requesting any video surveillance footage from the venue.
Lei is free on his on recognizances. He has a pre-trial hearing set for Oct. 7 but does not have to appear due to his touring schedule.
