12 IRS Scams in Marblehead in 24 Hours: Police
Marblehead police issued an alert after over a dozen residents were hit by IRS scammers.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead police issued a public alert after over a dozen residents were hit by IRS scammers. Police said the scammers typically threat people with arrest if they don't pay "unpaid" taxes.
On Thursday, 12 residents told police they received calls from scammers.
"Please just hang up," police said in a statement. "We know if 12 people called us there are many more who didn't.
