$1M North Shore Drug Ring Busted: Police
Police said they recently busted a million-dollar heroin and cocaine operation on the North Shore. Ten kilograms of cocaine were seized.

LYNN, MA — Three North Shore residents were charged with running a million-dollar heroin and cocaine operation.
Jonathan Sosa, 31, of Lynn, Melkis Pena, 53, and Gerson Ceballos-Rosario, 37, both of Swampscott, were arrested Friday in Lynn. Police said they busted the trio as they conducted a drug deal worth about $800,000. Ten kilograms of cocaine and half a kilo of heroin were seized.
"These three individuals ran a significant drug operation on the North Shore that was responsible for bringing heroin and cocaine into Massachusetts communities,” said Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey in a statement. “We will continue to work with our local, state, and federal partners to aggressively investigate and prosecute those who traffic these lethal drugs.”
