5 Things to Do This Weekend

Here is this week's list of five things to do in Marblehead. They are listed in no particular order:

Enjoy a Good Laugh: The Gerry 5 VFA is hosting a Comedy Fest! Saturday night beginning at 7:30 p.m. The show will feature Marblehead's own Jack Walsh along with Kelly MacFarland, Bob Seibel, and Dave Andrews! Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door (if seating available). All proceeds will go to the Gerry 5 Scholarships Fund.

Become a North Shore Idol: Want to be a North Pole Idol? A Dancer's Dream will be holding auditions tonight from 6 to 8 p.m.! So, if you're talented and you want to have a chance to win the competition's $500 cash prize, Click Here for all the details.

Cheer on Some Cheerleaders: Marblehead High School's championship-caliber cheerleading squad will take part in a regional competition at Beverly High School Sunday. The MSSAA Sectionals are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Click Here for our full story.

Catch a Football Game: Looking for a good reason to cheer this weekend? Marblehead High School's varsity football team will take on the Beverly Panthers tomorrow afternoon at Hurd Stadium. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., so consider stopping by to cheer them on!

Hit the Farmers' Market: The Marblehead Farmers' Market will be held Saturday at Marblehead Veterans Middle School. The market will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will feature all the fruits, flowers and veggies you'll need to keep your family happy and healthy.
