5 Things You Need to Know Today: July 5

Today is Thursday, July 5, and here are the five things you need to know:

1. It should be another beautiful day in Marblehead. The National Weather Service is predicting that local residents can expect it to be mostly sunny, with a high near 77. Tonight should be partly cloudy, with a low around 65. (sunrise, 5:12 a.m.; low tide, 6:50 a.m.; high tide, 1:10 p.m.; low tide, 7:04 p.m.; sunset, 8:23 p.m.)

2. Wednesday night's annual Fourth of July Fireworks Display had a little bit of everything. The weather cooperated right up until the finale when many local residents found themselves caught out in a torrential downpour. Did you take any pictures of the celebration?
