Here are the five things you need to know before you start your day in Marblehead.

1. You'll want to be prepared for some wet weather in Marblehead today. The National Weather Service is predicting that local residents can expect rain and a high near 45. Tonight should be cloudy, with a low around 35. (sunrise, 6:26 a.m.; low tide, 11:45 a.m.; sunset, 4:27 p.m.; high tide, 5:57 p.m.)

3. The Conservation Commission will meet tonight in the lower-level conference room of the Mary Alley Municipal Building on Widger Road. The meeting, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., is expected to feature a discussion regarding proposed repairs to a pier on Front Street, according to the posted agenda.
