2. The raised $9,000 at a candlelit party at the Jeremiah Lee Mansion Thursday night. The fundraiser was aimed at raising $5,000 to replace a third-floor window at the mansion. to check out some photos from the event.

4. 's varsity football team will take on St. Mary's tonight at Manning Field in Lynn. The game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., so consider stopping by to cheer them on!

5. Today in History: On Sept. 14, 1901 President William McKinley died after an assassination attempt on Sept. 6, and was succeeded by Theodore Roosevelt.
