MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are presumed innocent.

Mon., April 25

• 1:04 p.m. An IRS scam was reported on Pleasant Street.
• 6:40 p.m. A hit-and-run was reported on Lee Street.

Tue., April 26

• 3:15 a.m. An officer responded to Pleasant Street for a report of a loud party.
• 7:24 p.m. Two aggressive dogs were reported on Ocean Avenue.
• 7:31 p.m. A howling dog was reported on Pleasant Street.
• 9:24 p.m. One person was arrested in a prostitution sting in the Intrepid Circle area.
