MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead artist Holly Aloha Jaynes will hold a multi-media art sale and exhibit during the first three weeks of June at the Unitarian Universalist Church's Stetson Gallery.
An opening reception is scheduled for June 7 from noon to 2 p.m. Jaynes also plans a closing and thank-you party on June 21 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Stetson Gallery.
The exhibit will feature a wide range of work, including oil paintings, watercolors, photographs, collage, assemblage and some beaded jewelry. The jewelry is purchased sustainably from the Navajo in New Mexico.
The show is intended to display and sell artwork Jaynes has made over the years.
Jaynes has painted most of her life and has become a mixed media artist over time, according to the event description.
She is calling the exhibit "Make Me an Offer" because she wants to make the art she has created over the past 30 years affordable to anyone.
Jaynes has sold many pieces across several formats, including oil paintings, collage, assemblage, photography, hand-painted furniture and beaded jewelry. Her June exhibit brings those different forms together in one sale at the Marblehead gallery.
Jaynes is a member of the Marblehead Art Association, where she has participated in group shows and solo exhibits, according to the event information.
She also has won numerous awards at the Marblehead Festival of Art in oil painting, collage and assemblage.
