Marblehead Residents Get Free North Shore Children’s Museum Admission

Free admission for Marblehead residents is available Aug. 8-9 and Aug. 15-16 while tickets last.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents will be able to visit the North Shore Children's Museum for free on four dates in August.

The free admission days are scheduled for Aug. 8-9 and Aug. 15-16 and are being offered with support from the Marblehead Cultural Council and Mass Cultural Council.

Tickets may be reserved online in advance or obtained in person.

Guests should be prepared to show proof of Marblehead residency at the door. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.

The museum said free admission will be available during several timed entry blocks across the four days.

On Saturday, Aug. 8, the available time slots are 9 a.m. to noon, noon to 2 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, Aug. 9, the available time slots are noon to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The same schedule is planned for the following weekend. On Saturday, Aug. 15, admission blocks are 9 a.m. to noon, noon to 2 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, Aug. 16, residents can attend from noon to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Residents who want to attend can reserve tickets through the museum's website.
