From 1776 to 2013, Marblehead's spirit of independence is woven into our town's history, which is one of the reasons that the Fourth of July is our favorite holiday to come together as a community…and the countdown to the 4th has begun!
The 2013 Marblehead Fireworks and Harbor Illumination is happening on Thursday, July 4th, 2013. The festivities will begin with the Harbor Illumination at approximately 8:45 p.m., followed immediately by the lighting of the fuse for the 2013 edition of FIREWORKS FOREVER!
Hosting Marblehead's celebrated fireworks display requires a significant amount of volunteer time as well as monetary contributions from our community to cover the expenses. While we're still working toward our fundraising goal, the 2013 edition of Fireworks Forever continues to thrive through gifts provided by members of the Marblehead community, residents of Boston's North Shore, and local businesses who are all proud to share their independent spirit by contributing to the celebration.
