BNI Red Rock members are seeking professionals to refer businesses

The doors at BNI Red Rock
Chapter at the First Church in Swampscott, located at 40 Monument Avenue, will
be opened wide to welcome potential new members on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from
7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.. The current members, now thirty five strong, are
looking for new members to pass referral business.

BNI is a business and
professional networking organization whose primary purpose is to exchange
qualified business referrals.  The organization
presently has over 6,500 chapters throughout every populated continent in the
world.  Last year, members of BNI passed
over 6.5 million referrals which generated almost $2.8 billion (U.S.) worth of
business for each other. The Red Rock Chapter was responsible for $740,000.00 of
referral dollars passed within the chapter last year.

The reason this BNI Chapter
is so effective is the fact we meet every week. The meetings are well
structured with open networking opportunities, forty-five second commercials,
as well as ten minute in depth member presentations. We build relationships and
trust that the person sitting across from us in the room is going to do a
superlative job. Outside the meetings members meet for one-to-ones to get to
know each other, and better understand how to best refer one another.    

What makes BNI unique is that it allows only one person
per profession to join a chapter.  Thus,
once you join, none of your competitors can participate. On May 9, 2013, the
chapter is excited to welcome Patti Salvucci, Executive Director of BNI
Massachusetts as the featured speaker. Please come to the meeting for some
breakfast and learn more about the organization and whether you would be
interested in generating a steady source of referral business for yourself.
