Marblehead Resident Inducted into Bishop Fenwick High School National Honor Society

In an evening ceremony in April, the Bishop Fenwick High School chapter of the National Honor Society welcomed 35
new students into its ranks, including Marblehead resident John Blanchard.

National Honor Society members are those who are
outstanding in scholarship, leadership, service and character.  Selection of students is an honor accorded by the Faculty Council.  Candidates must have a minimum cumulative scholastic average of 4.0 to be considered and must excel in the areas of service, leadership and character.  At Bishop Fenwick, NHS members are called to serve in various ways throughout the year.  NHS members provide peer tutoring and run a variety of service
projects.

Bishop Fenwick High School is a Catholic, college preparatory, co-educational high school. Located on a 38-acre campus in Peabody, Bishop Fenwick High School was
founded in 1959 by the late Richard Cardinal Cushing.  Serving the North Shore of Boston and the surrounding areas, Bishop Fenwick draws students from 49 cities and towns.
