Newburyport Resident Yomna Elsiddig Receives Graduation Award from MGH Institute of Health Professions

BOSTON – Newburyport resident Yomna Elsiddig received the Student Award for Innovation during MGH Institute of Health Professions Commencement ceremonies on May 9, 2013.

Elsiddig graduated with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the Boston health sciences graduate school. She received the award for showing leadership while working on a community outreach project.

A total of 492 students in communication sciences and disorders, nursing, physical therapy, and health professions education graduated during the MGH Institute’s ceremonies at Boston’s Hynes Convention Center. Founded in 1977, the school has more than 1,200 students and 5,000 alumni.
