Star of the Sea Art Auction

Have an interest in
local art?  Or maybe, you would like to
get out on a Sunday evening to commune with neighbors and friends at a wine and
cheese Art Auction? Well then we have some great news for you.

Our Lady Star of the Sea announces the Christmas Walk kick-off
event Art Auction at the Parish
Center on Atlantic Avenue Marblehead
on Sunday November 18^th at 4:00. 
We have a myriad of beautiful local artists’ works generously donated
for the support of the many Star of the Sea community programs and events. Art
work is available for viewing at the Church’s Community Center on Saturday November
17^th, and on Sunday November 18th with a wine and cheese auction
event from 4:00 to 6:00 on that evening. Silent bid auction event winners will be
announced at 6:15 that night.  We hope
that you will join us for this fun evening with friends, neighbors, wine,
cheese, and art.

We have well over 80 pieces from over a dozen local artists including,
Mary Fields, Marilyn Chamberlain, Elaine Daly, Martha Quigley, Adrienne
Kelliher, and Concetta Donovan. In addition to local art we have several
prints, serigraphs and a valuable serigraph by Thomas McKnight, Boston Pops
Tickets, Patriots Tickets, and Orthodontist Dentistry.

We hope to benefit the community with this event and
exposure for local artists while raising awareness and funds for the many
programs sponsored by Our Lady Star of the Sea.

This community event is a pre-cursor and kick off event to Marblehead’s Christmas
Walk week that starts on Thursday November 29^th, so please come view
local art with your neighbors and friends and hear about all to do in the town
after Thanksgiving at this year’s Christmas Walk. The town’s Christmas Walk
Weekend just keeps getting better and better and this event is another exciting
and popular addition to our town’s great fabric of community events.
