Tonight At Abbot Hall, Symphony by the Sea Presents 'Bold. Beautiful. Beethoven'

Bold. Beautiful. Beethoven.

Symphony by the Sea presents its spring concerts on Thursday, April 25 at Abbot Hall in Marblehead and Sunday, April 28 at the Governor’s Academy in Byfield.  The Thursday concert starts at 7:30 pm and is preceded by a reception.  The Sunday concert starts at 3:00 pm.

Asked about the program’s title (Bold. Beautiful. Beethoven.) Beverly Clark, Board President, explains, “We are delighted to share with you Beethoven's magnificent Seventh Symphony, my own personal favorite."  She adds, “The program also features guest violinist, Robyn Bollinger, who has just won the Boston Pops Concerto Competition.  Her performance of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, Opus 64 with Symphony by the Sea will provide a ‘sneak preview’ before her Boston Pops debut of this same piece.”
