Annie Jr The Musical Coming To Marblehead Little Theatre 12/7-17

Come See This Electric All Youth Cast In One Of The Most Beloved Musicals Of All Time!

The Marblehead Little Theatre is very excited to announce tickets are now on sale for their upcoming production of Annie Jr. This fabulous all youth cast will have you humming “Tomorrow” for days! Performance dates are: December 7, 8, 15 & 16 at 7:00pm and December 9, 10, 16 & 17 at 3:00pm. The show is being produced by Trudi Olivetti and Stanis Ames, directed by Janet Sheehan with music direction by Georgia Bills. The show is based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical featuring music by Charles Strouse with lyrics by Martin Charnin. Annie, Jr is based on the book by Thomas Meehan.

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Sharing the role of Annie/Orphan are Lani Gilmore & Mara Stein. Other cast members include: Griffen Rodenhiser as Warbucks; Brooklyn Mullowney as Miss Hannigan; Piper Hall as Grace; Christian Grant as Rooster; Maggie Skelly as Lily; Michael Tringale as Drake/Bert Healy/Bundles; Reagan Weiner as Sandy the Dog; Natalie Brown as Miss Pugh; Laren de Melo as Cecile; Kate Dulac as Sound Effects Person; Emma Hawthorne as Usherette; Georgia Lloyd as Mrs. Greer; Sean McElhiney as Lt. Ward/FDR; Leah Power as Apple Seller; Sophia Weiner as Usherette/Dog Catcher and Audrey Pilotte as Annette. The Orphans include: Rachel Delisle; Molly Grant; Anastasia Kuperman; Nina Lees; Sophie Robinson; Mia Tringale; Willow Waddington and Livia Weiss.

Ticket prices are $15 for students and $20 for adults.
