Art Exhibit at the Cloister Gallery

The Cloister Gallery will feature a show by artist Dale Greene. The exhibit will run from Sunday February 24th through Thursday April 11th. There will be a reception for the show on Sunday February 24th from 11:15am-12:30 p.m. The Cloister Gallery at St. Andrew’s Church is located at 135 Lafayette St., Marblehead. The Gallery hours are M-Th 9am-2pm, F 9am-12pm, Sa 8:30am-10am, Su 8am-12pm. The Gallery is handicapped accessible. Dale says “For me, the process of creating a beautiful artwork is both satisfying and compelling. From nature I select a subject, and then combine the elements of good composition, harmonious colors and interesting brushstrokes to capture the feeling it evokes. My purpose in painting a landscape is not to recreate a scene, but to reconnect with the sense of joy and freedom which is inspired by our natural world.”
