Man Cracked Girlfriend's Skull; Gets Probation
John Perry was sentenced to 12 months probation for assault that happened at Western New England University in 2014.

A 2012 Marblehead High School graduate was sentenced to 12 months probation for the assault of his ex-girlfriend in 2014, according to the Springfield Republican.
Perry, who was a student at and football player for Western New England University in Springfield at the time of the assault, admitted to a reduced assault charge in the case.
In addition to the probation, the judge in the case last week also ruled that Perry Perry avoid alcohol, stay away from the victim and the university, and complete a court-approved domestic violence treatment program. Perry was dismissed from the university as a result of the charges.

John Perry was a linebacker and running back for the Magicians and was a junior linebacker at the Springfield college at the time of the assault.
At the time of Perry’s araignment, Assistant District Attorney Marie Angers said in court that the victim had a fractured skull, bleeding to the brain, two split lips that were bleeding plus blood coming from her nose, swelling and cuts to her face.
