Back-to-School Day in Marblehead

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Wednesday is back-to-school day for Marblehead students as another school year begins. The forecast calls for cloudy skies, with highs in the 70s.

Marblehead police will launch extra patrols near school crossing guards to make sure students are safe. There will also be officers on board school busses to make sure drivers don't illegally pass, police said.

"Please help us to keep everyone safe," police said in a statement.
