BB Shot Through Cab's Windshield

The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Aug. 23

  • At 8:05 a.m., a caller reported two cars speeding, estimated to be traveling at 50 mph, at Green Street and Creesy Street.
  • At 10:23 a.m., a caller from Pierce Street said her neighbor has left harassing and threatening notes on her door and is calling her names and has asked her to leave the neighborhood. The woman will send a no trespass order to the other neighbor and police will give the neighbor a verbal no trespass order. The conflict stems from barking dogs. The issue was smoothed over.
  • At 11:36 a.m., a Central Street resident complained about loud Mexican folk music from a construction site. The workers kindly agreed to turn it down.
  • At 12:40 p.m., a Susan Road caller reported receiving threatening text messages.
  • At 1:55 p.m., a caller complained about tractor trailer deliveries at Allerton Place, saying the trucks back down the street and block the driveway, a dangerous situation.
  • At 8:37 p.m., police received a report of a brother stealing an iPod and money from his brother at a Broughton Road residence.
  • At 11:20 p.m., a cab driver reported someone shot a hole through his windshield on the driver's side when he was inbound to Marblehead.
Saturday, Aug. 24
  • At 1:01 a.m., police received a report of a loud party on Cedar Street.
  • At 6:32 a.m., a caller reported that a vehicle hit the sign in the median at Elm Street and Evans Road, leaving a hubcap behind. The sign was ripped from the ground, apparently on impact, and located far from the median.
  • At 2:28 p.m., a caller reported finding a Razor scooter in his yard at Auburndale Road. It has been in the yard a couple days.
  • At 4:48 p.m., a person reported that a 2.2 hp Mercury motor was stolen from a dinghy from the Ring Float at Village Street pier.
