Beer Can Litter and Threats Over Snow Removal

Friday, Feb. 13
At 7:54 a.m., an abandoned car was reported in a parking lot on Elm Street. The owner was located and said she had AAA on the way to tow it.
At 8:53 a.m., a caller reported finding a set of keys.

At 9:01 a.m., a snow removal dispute was reported.
At 9:36 a.m., a person reported being stuck on Naugus Avenue and was awaiting a tow. Another person, meanwhile, called and reported being stuck in the same area. The tow truck for the first vehicle also became stuck. DPW arrived to sand the area.

At 11:35 a.m., an IRS scam call was reported.
At 12:02 p.m., a found wallet was reported.
At 4:23 p.m., a woman reported being harassed at work.
Saturday, Feb. 14
At 12:32 a.m., a caller reported seeing man sitting in the snow near the Marblehead-Swampscott line and was afraid the person could be intoxicated. Police were unable to locate the party.
At 6:34 a.m., Stefanie Nicole Maragni, 30, was arrested on a warrant.
At 7:38 a.m., a woman reported that someone had littered in her parking spot for the third time. The litter was several beer cans.
At 10:39 a.m., the National Guard requested an escort to bring snow removal trucks to town.
At 9:45 p.m., a caller said he’d received an anonymous phone call from someone threatening him over not shoveling his sidewalk. Police documented that it appeared to be a spoof call.
