Bonfire Leads to Drug Possession Arrest: Marblehead Police

Monday, Feb. 1
At 9:19 a.m., there was a report of a basketball hoop in the road on Hillcrest Road. The owner moved it into his driveway.
At 2:59 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Pleasant Street.

At 5:08 p.m., a woman reported a road rage incident. She said a car followed her and a man got out of his car at Village and West Shore Drive. The woman said she drove off but the man continued to follow her. Eventually, he got out of the car, called her names and punched her car, causing a dent.
At 5:13 p.m., there was a report of smoke in a garage on Atlantic Avenue, possibly caused by a garage door opener.

At 10:18 p.m., there was a report of a bonfire in the woods near Pinecliff Drive. The fire department was requested to put out the bonfire. While at the scene, police arrested Kevin Oswald, 26, of 14 Leavitt Street in Salem and charged him with the possession of a class B drug.
