Books and Photos for the Holidays
The Friends of the Abbot Library's Holiday sale of books and gifts is Saturday, Dec. 5.
While you are out and about, enjoying the Marblehead Christmas Walk, stop by the Abbot Public Library on Saturday, December 5 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., where the Friends of Abbot Library are presenting a Holiday Sale of Books and Gifts.
There will be several tables of nearly-new children’s books, holiday season cookbooks, Christmas music CDs, popular novels and gifts you won’t find anywhere else.

Bird Photographs by Marblehead Photographer Rob Kipp
Rob Kipp has generously offered to make the photographs from his March 2015 exhibit, “Celebrating Marblehead’s Migratory Birds,” available for sale at extremely modest prices, with all proceeds going to the Marblehead Conservancy and the Abbot Public Library. Come pick up some beautiful archival ready-to-frame mounted photographs of Marblehead’s feathered residents and visitors, to give as gifts or to brighten your home during the holidays and through the year.

Mongolian handcrafts, offered by Judy Gates
All items are handmade from natural materials by local artisans. They include Kazak embroidered purses in traditional designs, holiday decorations, felt slippers, mittens and woodcarvings.
Photographic Notecards, by Kristine Naethe Ferrigno
Kristine Naethe Ferrigno has been a photographer all her life. She is drawn to nature, feeling that it is impossible to surpass its beauty. As she photographs flowers, she feels drawn into the image and often abstract shapes are a result. Kristine offers her photography as notecards and matted photos.
Beaded jewelry, by Ann Wright
Ann Wright is a self-taught artist and is constantly evolving with her work. Ann’s currant work is focused primarily on lampworked glass beads as well as polymer clay beads, strung as bracelets.
