Boys' Tennis Knotted Up
The Headers and Pentucket were knotted at 2-2 when the second doubles match was washed out before the third game.
The boys’ tennis team slugged it out at home with undefeated Pentucket Thursday until the weather made the court unplayable.
With the score tied at 2-2, the deciding match would be second doubles. Twins Sean and Peter Jackson knocked off Pentucket’s Nate Eames and Brandon Conn 6-4, before the Sachem duo took the second game 6-4.
The entire third game will be played at a later date, tentatively scheduled for Friday afternoon, May 27. The boys’ tennis team has a killer week ahead of them, with four matches on the schedule, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
