When my friend Jaye offered a printmaking workshop (a long-time dream of hers), I decided to play hooky with a few friends and spend the morning lost in the art zone. Since then, Bodhi and I went to a pottery wheel workshop at Clay Dreaming and co-created a cityscape based on Ed Emberley’s Drawing Book: Make a World. The more messiness has translated to more happiness.
My resolution is to include at least one art activity a week that satisfies my soul – and hey, coloring is pretty pleasing too.
