Marblehead High Baseball Alumni Game Held
The 5th annual Marblehead High baseball alumni game was held Sunday May 27th at Seaside Park. Marblehead High School baseball were state champions in 1985 and again in 1992.
The 5th annual Marblehead High baseball alumni game was held Sunday May 27th at Seaside Park. The Headers team scored a resounding victory over the Magician squad 10-3. After the game, participants enjoyed a steak tip dinner at the Gerry 5 on Beacon St.
Highlights of the game included MVP Jason Tarasuick’s 95’ mammoth grand slam home run to dead center in the 3rd inning that landed on the fly on Atlantic Ave. Magician’s pitcher Sam Martin 05’ pitched two scoreless innings and collected two hits. Mike McCarthy 99’collected two hits as did current Marblehead High JV coach Justin Beechwood 99’.
Participants included Bill LeBlanc 76’, Everett Strauss 00’,Neil Comeau 00’, Jared Bane 02’, Ryan Radabaugh 92’, Chris Kennedy 00’, Andrew Boaseti 06’,Bill Crane 60’, Connor Carey 09’, Jason Tarasuik 95’, Mike Brophy 83’, Jeff Martin 03’, Brian Green 99’, Mike McCarthy 99’, Sam Martin 05’,Peter Sheridan 91’, Dave Keife 59’, Joe McKne 59’, Justin Beechwood 99’, and Brian Stanton 91’.

Umpiring the game was the incomparable Tom Roundy 77’. Tom is currently an assistant to head baseball coach Jason Tarasuick.
