Massport Honors Marblehead Resident For Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes employees for superior achievements

The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) today awarded Marblehead resident John Morris with the Authority’s “Outstanding Achievement” award. The award honors employees who have made a noteworthy contribution to the operation of the Authority. Massport began the recognition program in 2007 to give employees an opportunity to honor their peers for superior individual achievement.

Morris is a Massachusetts State Police Trooper assigned to Troop F at Boston Logan International Airport.  Trooper Morris was recognized for his contributions to the multi-agency Logan Airport Task Force consisting of State Police, Homeland Security Investigators and U.S. Drug Enforcement Agents that work together to stop the flow of illegal drugs into the Commonwealth.

“The Outstanding Achievement award recognizes instances of superior individual and team achievements and is an opportunity to recognize the men and women who make our transportation facilities safe and secure  and thank them for their
exemplary efforts and enthusiasm,” said Massport CEO and Executive Director Thomas P. Glynn. “Through their efforts we are helping to make a safe airport safer and meeting the needs of the traveling public and establishing Massport as a nationally-recognized leader in transportation.”
