Building Collapse and Snow Disputes

Tuesday, Feb. 3

At 8:24 a.m., a town plow driver called to report that a landscape truck was blocking the entire road.

At 8:26 a.m., a worker reported the ceiling had caved at a business in the Pleasant Street shopping center. The person is afraid that the same will happen in Starbucks, 7-11 and the bank. Starbucks was subsequently evacuated, then the rest of the building was evacuated. The roof fully collapsed a short time later.

At 8:30 a.m., a neighbor dispute was reported.

At 10:29 a.m., a person reported a fire hydrant had been hit by a plow.

At 11:28 a.m., a caller reported a neighbor through snow on him.

At 11:58 a.m., an officer came upon a car in a snowbank. The driver was attempting to contact AAA for a tow.

At 2:43 p.m., a woman reported her mother climbed out a window to clear snow from the roof and was stuck.

At 6:13 p.m., a postal worker reported that an irate woman was yelling at him about a broken down postal truck being parked in her driveway.

At 10:12 p.m., Kimberly Shepard, 52, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
