Caller Tells Police He Kicked a Dog that Barked Too Much
Plus, car door opened into bicyclists and flowers ripped from a planter.

Saturday, June 27
At 8:57 a.m., a caller reported that a boat on a trailer was an eyesore and wanted to know whether it was legal for the boat to be there. A responding officer had trouble locating the boat, but eventually found a “small inflatable dinghy” on a stand that appeared to be ”well cared for” and looked as though it was about to be painted.
At 9:33 a.m., an officer came upon a group of landscapers who had blocked the street using cones. The crew was advised to remove the cones and hire a police detail if it intended to block the street.

At 1:33 p.m., a caller reported that plants had been pulled out of a planter some time overnight. She reported that kids hanging out behind Three Cod Tavern had become a problem and additional patrols would be helpful.

At 3:14 p.m., a car door was opened into two passing bicyclists. One individual was transported to the hospital.
At 3:30 p.m., a caller said a child was riding his bike in the middle of the road.
At 5:25 p.m., a woman reported that an unknown male was watching her. Police spoke with the man who checked out.
At 6:14 p.m., a camera was found at Crocker Park.
At 8:10 p.m., a caller stated that a neighbor’s dog continued barking incessantly even though the neighbor had been asked repeatedly to quiet the dog. The caller said he kicked the dog and it stopped barking; he did not think the dog was injured. The animal control officer spoke with the dog owner and confirmed the dog did not appear to be hurt. The dog owner was advised to not engage with the complainant.
At 11:56 p.m., a loud party was reported.
