Celebrate the Literature of Life Stories at the Abbot Library

The library hosts a discussion seminar with Ann McGreevy on Wednesday, Sept. 30th, 10:30 a.m.

Do you enjoy the stories of real people’s lives, famous and not-so-famous?

If so, join the Abbot Public Library in the Marblehead Room on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 10:30 am, for, “Celebrating Great Lives: A Discussion Seminar on the Value of Biographies, Autobiographies and Memoir.”

Dr. Ann McGreevy, an avid fan of this genre, will lead the discussion of books on the Roosevelts, P.D. James, the Wyeth Family and others, as well as some stunning picture books on biography.

Bring your own favorite memoir, biography or autobiography to share with the group. Enjoy a relaxed session discussing this favorite genre and learn about some new books.

Ann McGreevy, Ph. D., a Marblehead resident, is an adjunct visiting professor at Salem State University. She is a published writer about many gifted individuals. She also is a member of the Abbot Library Board of Trustees.
