Charging Van Forces Another Driver Up On The Sidewalk
Excerpts from the Marblehead Police Department log.

Monday, Jan. 26
At 1:11 p.m., a woman reported that a van had charged at her and forced her to drive up on the sidewalk. Police didn’t find a vehicle in the area matching her description.
At 1:11 p.m., a business manager called to request police monitor the post office at night as he’d had several complaints of kids “yelling, screaming and climbing on the table” in the lobby.

At 2:17 p.m., a woman called to report that she was out but her neighbor saw three men with hockey sticks entering her home. It turned out to be a cleaning crew.
At 6:09 p.m., a driver reported spotting another driver throw trash from a vehicle. Police tracked down the suspect vehicle and the driver said it was a jacket thrown out the window, which he then returned to pick up.

At 9 p.m., a caller stated a Jeep was running with a person inside and had been there for some time. Police checked and the driver had fallen asleep. He was headed home.
Tuesday, Jan. 27
At 12:01 a.m., arcing wires were reported on Harbor Avenue.
At 1:44 a.m., a plow driver reported seeing five kids walk toward the back of the high school. Police found footprints that went to the track and stopped at the school. The school was secure.
At 3:39 a.m., the causeway was closed.
At 3:40 a.m., Front Street was closed.
