Children's Theatre Program - North Shore Idol's "Best of Broadway" beings February 7th!

North Shore Idol, affiliated with the Theater of Light, is offering a six-session Winter Theater Program entitled “The Best of Broadway”. This theater program is geared for North Shore children ages 9 and up. Registration is now in progress.

The program will take place at the Old North Church on February 7, 8, 28 and March 1, 21, 22. Saturday rehearsals are from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM. This theatre program kicks off with a special “Idol Audition Experience”. The participants will have singing lessons, all styles of dance training, plus workshops in acting and song presentation which will all focus on the Broadway scenes/songs that will be rehearsed for the ending performance. In addition to this training there will be a confidence-building workshop plus a professional photo-shoot. On the last evening of the program, a performance of “North Shore Idol’s Best of Broadway” will be presented which will showcase the acting, singing, and dances that the participants worked on.

Enrollment is limited to 20 participants. Those who enroll by February 1st will receive a $25 discount on the program fee.
