Concord Youth To Appear As Billy Elliot In Marblehead Little Theatre's Billy Elliot

Concord resident Christopher Renaud has been cast as Billy Elliot in The Marblehead Little Theatre’s upcoming production of Billy Elliot. Christopher is a 6th grader at the Rundlett Middle School in Concord NH. The plot revolves around motherless Billy, who trades boxing gloves for ballet shoes. The story of his personal struggle and fulfillment are balanced against a counter-story of family and community strife caused by the a miner’s strike in North Eastern England. The production will run June 24th through July 3rd at Marblehead Little Theatre, 12 School Street in Marblehead, MA. Opening night, June 24th will include a meet the cast reception immediately following the show. Tickets are $25 for general admission, $15 for students for the matinee performances only.
