MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from Tuesday's Marblehead Police log:

8:59 a.m. - 40-foot sailboat hits rock near Ram Island. Not taking on water.

9:31 a.m. - Caller from Cliff St. says he doesn't know if he locked his car overnight but is missing a pouch of change in the center console, prescription sunglasses, and two pocket knic

10 a.m. - Caller from Washington Street said around 8:30 a.m. he was eating a muffin and reading the paper when a man who had a "long beard and long hair" began taking pictures of him.

10:21 a.m. - Caller said she is teaching summer school and a student walked off. She followed the student to his house and he refused to come out. She said when she knocked, he threatened to let the dogs out. Then the student left the house and sat in the driveway.

2:16 p.m. - Reports of two teen girls riding "golf type vehicles" at a high speed.
