Diver finds live bay scallop off Riverhead beach in harbor.

While disconnecting the town class trawl moorings off Riverhead beach I discovered a live bay scallop . These aren't supposed to be north of the Cape.I brought it to the cat cove marine lab where they were astonished it was found locally. Maybe another sign of global warming?
