Dog Poop and a Broken Outdoor Table Reported as 'Odd Events'

At 12:04 a.m., a caller reported youths “bumper skiing” on Pleasant Street.

At 7:07 a.m., a small mulch fire in a planter was reported and extinguished on Bessom Street.

At 9:11 a.m., a woman reported several odd events on Willard Lane. In particular, she told police a table on a deck of a house just put up for sale had been blown over and broken. She also noticed two piles of dog poop in the yard and said the poop had been placed in the same places on separate nights. She requested additional police patrols.

At 11:21 a.m., a woman reported a person living in the park on Lighthouse Lane. She said she’d spotted a hammock there the past two days. Police spoke with a woman with the hammock who said she was staying with a friend and took a nap in the hammock after work each day.

At 5:12 p.m., a person came into the station and reported being followed and harrassed by an ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend.

At 5:29 p.m., police arrested Garrett Huygens, 23, of Gloucester on a non-Marblehead warrant.
