Driver and Father Execute 'Coordinated Escape' from Hospital Following Crash
Excerpts from the Marblehead Police Department log.

Saturday, May 16
At 1:17 a.m., a one-car motor vehicle accident was reported near 27 Tedesco St. A vehicle struck a light pole and one person was transported to the hospital. A short time later, a person with the ambulance company called police to report that the patient had executed a “coordinated escape” with her father and had left the hospital without being seen. Hospital security advised the ambulance worker to contact police, who met the father and daughter and issued a citation for operating to endanger.
At 8:11 a.m., a person reported having lost her driver’s license while walking on the neck. The person called back later and said someone had dropped the license off with her.

At 1:21 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle with a flat front tire. A tow company was called and the driver was issued a citation for operating with defective equipment.
At 1:45 p.m., a library administrator called and said that a patron was yelling at and threatening one of the library’s employees. A verbal ”no trespass” order was issued at the scene and the library will issue a formal ”no trespass.” According to the library administrator, the patron has been known to watch “violent pornography” and has been asked not to do that as it makes other patrons uncomfortable.

At 11:04 p.m., police arrested Bryon Hardin, 20, of Marblehead following a motor vehicle stop. Hardin was charged with OUI liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
