Saturday, Sept. 8:
- At 12:31 p.m., a woman called police to report that her daughter was on a 60' sailboat on its way to Newport and she was worried because the weather was getting bad.
- At 1:12 p.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance on Washington Street. Responding officers were able to restore the peace.
- At 1:46 p.m., a resident entered the with a gold necklace they found outside of a shop on State Street.
- At 2:44 p.m., a woman called police to report that her daughter recently lost her iPod at .
- At 3:52 p.m., a resident entered the police station to turn over a car key discovered on a soccer field on Village Street.
- At 4:02 p.m., police responded to a report hit-and-run accident involving a 2004 Toyota Prius near the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Washington Street. The vehicle was later located in the parking lot at and the driver was ticketed.
- At 4:14 p.m., a resident called police to report that their bike was stolen from behind Romano's Pizza on Bessom Street.
- At 4:32 p.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Pleasant Street.
- At 4:46 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Farrell Court.

- At 8:10 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Bennett Road.
- At 8:31 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Tedesco Street.
- At 8:43 p.m., police responded to a report of a man and woman who were "extremely drunk" in front of 129 Pleasant St. William Wharff, 57, of 1 Carol Way, Salem, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
- At 9:28 p.m., police and fire units responded to a fire alarm on Atlantic Avenue.
- At 11:57 p.m., police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident involving a 2009 Honda Civic on Highland Terrace.

- At 1:40 a.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance on Cedar Street.
- At 5:08 a.m., a resident on Harbor Avenue called police to report that his ex-girlfriend was damaging his property.
- At 8:34 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on a man in a 2005 Ford Explorer parked near the intersection of Norman and Beacon streets. Jeffrey Luszcz, 23, of 9 Fairview Road, Marblehead, was arrested on a charge of possessing a class B substance.
- At 9:07 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Community Road.
- At 9:43 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Sewall Street involving a 2005 Ford Escape.
- At 9:52 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of West Shore Drive and Lafayette Street involving a 2009 Dodge Journey and a 2010 Toyota Corolla. One motorist was transported the hospital with neck pain.
- At 10:04 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Village Street. Seven vehicles were ticketed for being illegally parked.
- At 11:31 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Harris Street.
- At 12:39 p.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Pleasant Street.
- At 12:47 p.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Village Street.
- At 6:06 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Sheldon Road.
- At 8:29 p.m., police assisted with a lift on Farrell Court.
- At 9:48 p.m., police responded to a report of loud music on Ocean Avenue.
