Drunk Marblehead Woman Resisted Arrest After Crash: Police

Christine Dhionis, 68, of Marblehead, was arrested after police said she crashed into a wall on Ocean Avenue Saturday night.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — A drunk Marblehead woman crashed into a wall on Ocean Avenue Saturday night then fought responding police officers, according to authorities. Christine Dhionis, 68, of Flint Street, was charged with OUI (liquor), negligent driving, and resisting arrest.

On Saturday at about 10:51 p.m., a man called police and said a Mercedes driven by Dhionis crashed into a wall near Harbor Avenue. The man said he would stay at the scene until officers arrived. When officers did arrive, they said Dhionis was combative as she was placed under arrest. The owner of the wall was informed of the crash.
